Mahin is coming to Germany with her husband and 2 sons at the end of 2015. The family lives in a refugee apartment in Leipzig. Mahin becomes pregnant again, this time with a girl. Because there is a lot of quarrel, she moves with the children into a "shelter", but in the same house.
In front of the eyes of the two children, her husband stabs her on August 11, 2017. Then he throws himself out of the window into the backyard. He is seriously injured and goes to the hospital.
The trial begins in February 2018 at the Leipzig Regional Court. In March, the perpetrator is sentenced to life imprisonment. The particular severity of the guilt is not determined. The sons live meanwhile in the home.
