A man in Gujranwala murdered his wife and four children, police revealed on Thursday, January 28, 2021. The murders were committed by the woman's husband, identified as Imran. Police are calling it a case of "honor killing" because Imran has made a confession. Imran also confessed to "killing all his children who woke up from sleep and witnessed him killing their mother. "

What is an honour killing?

An honour killing is a murder in the name of honour. If a brother murders his sister to restore family honour, it is an honour killing. According to activists, the most common reasons for honour killings are as the victim:
