Gülsen will separate from Gökhan. There are some reports of domestic violence against him. On 24 November 2016 he insulted her in the street in the middle of the day, beat her up and stabbed her: 7 times in the chest, 4 stabs in the genital area.

Gülsen goes down, Gökhan kicks her in the face. Passers-by can stop Gökhan. He calls the rescue service. Gülsen comes to the hospital.

It is said that Gülsen's life can be saved in an emergency surgery, just because there happens to be a cardiac surgeon in the house.

In May 2017, the trial for attempted murder and dangerous ill-treatment begins at the Hamburg District Court. In July, the perpetrator is admitted to a psychiatric ward.
