Asia F. was promised by her father to her cousin Mohamed. However, she marries another man named Javed. The two have a child and live in Herne, North Rhine-Westphalia. Then their family instructs Mohamed to kill her self-chosen husband.

On 20 August 2016 Mohamed will travel from Dresden to Herne. Together with other offenders he stabbed Javed early in the morning on the public road. He also threatens to kill his wife and child. Witnesses stop him.

The victim undergoes emergency surgery and survives.

In February 2017, the trial of 5 perpetrators at the regional court of Bochum for a joint assassination will begin. In May, the main perpetrator is sentenced to 3 years and 9 months imprisonment.
