Nisar born: 2000
attempted murder: 19/20 June 2019
Residence: Meckenheim / Bonn
Origin: victim: Lebanon / Palestinians; perpetrators: Turkey / Kurds
Children: probably not
Perpetrators: father Masin C. and brothers (45, 27, 26 years) of his girlfriend (17 years)
In the spring of 2019 the Turkish-Kurdish Zilan falls in love with a classmate from Lebanon. His name is Nisar, he has a German passport. Zilan's father and her brothers disagree.
In 2019 Zilan and Nisar drive one night to the Waldfriedhof Meckenheim and park there. At 2 o'clock Zilan's father hits the window with a heavy wheel wrench. The 3 Kurds beat the boyfriend with tools and kick him while he is still lying on the ground, covered in blood and unconscious. Der Express speaks of an orgy of violence and an incredibly brutal attack. Zilan is also wounded. Witnesses hear the screams and call the police.
Nisar comes to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, undergoes emergency surgery and survives. Zilan is also taken to the hospital. The father is arrested, as well as a friend (43 years) of the father who was involved in the crime. A week later the two sons are arrested. In total the father has 6 children. In November accusations of attempted murder "out of anger about dishonorable behavior" are brought forward.
In December the trial starts at the regional court in Bonn. It is not surprising that Nisar has distanced herself from her boyfriend and refuses to testify.
In January 2020 father Masin is sentenced to 8.5 years and the sons to 7.5 years imprisonment. There is a lot of crying in court (especially by young women), they think the verdict is unjust. The defendants believed that they had the right to do it like this.
