Murder Shaheena Shaheen. The accused husband Mehrab Ghichki too powerful and influential to arrest and prosecute.
We have already paid attention to the notorious murder of the Pakistani journalist, artist and human rights activist Shaheena Shaheen Baluch. Today we are launching a timeline of important events in her life and unfortunately we have to conclude that Pakistan's investigators do not want (or are not allowed) to arrest and prosecute the suspected murderer Mehrab Ghichki, much to the grief of Shaheena's family, because he is currently too powerful and influential in Pakistan.
Despite numerous demonstrations and hunger strikes, the Pakistani authorities are not yet under enough pressure to treat the murderer Mehrab Ghichki as the grandson of Nawab Bayan Khan in the same way as any other Pakistani man who has shot his wife.
