Maybe it hasn't been a real murder attempt, but an assault with death threats. Susa's family comes to Germany from Syria and lives in Gütersloh. Susa is 18 years old and has perhaps recognized that she has more rights in Germany. For example, she could do an apprenticeship, study, have a boyfriend, her own apartment.
Her family can't let that happen. On April 3, 2017, the father beats up his daughter in the presence of the family. He presses a cigarette on her head. Present are 3 men and 2 women, presumably parents and siblings, or also aunts or cousins.
Neighbours call the police. The officers escort the weeping young woman out of the house. Then her father and her 15-year-old brother threaten her with death. The Syrians are also highly aggressive towards the police. The women are involved in the aggression.
Susa comes to the hospital, later to a protected place. Despite the threat situation, father and brother are not arrested. A report of assault and battery and resistance against the officers is filed. Susa is not the real name of the woman.
