Aqele has her first child at 16, at 25 she has 4. Her husband Challeddin is a tunnel builder.
On 31 August 2016 she was found lifeless in her room in a refugee shelter in Hoyerswerda, Saxony.
First of all, one assumes a natural death. But the autopsy indicates a death by suffocation.
Aqeles man is imprisoned on the Balkan route on the Hungarian border with Serbia. He had the 4 children with him. In September the perpetrator is extradited, the children remain in Hungary for the time being, but are brought back to Germany by the Youth Care Office of Bautzen.
In March 2017 the trial in the court of Görlitz will begin. The children have been back in Germany for several weeks. Aqele's brother tries to get custody. Challeddin testifies that his wife often contradicted him and did what she wanted. That is why he had already called her parents in Afghanistan. It cannot even be ruled out that he received his blessing for the murder there. In March, Challeddin was sentenced to life imprisonment.
