On August 6, 2018, Makeda and her daughter in a pram will go for a walk in the Pforzheimer Stadtgarten in the evening. She is an asylum seeker from Eritrea. Her ex-boyfriend stabbed her in the throat. A witness calls the police. The perpetrator flees, the knife is found.
Makeda comes to the clinic, undergoes emergency surgery and survives. The perpetrator is wanted. The night after the crime, the perpetrator is arrested in an asylum in Stuttgart.
