born: 1996
attempted murder: 31 July 2016
Residence: Detmold (NRW)
Origin: Victim: Germany; perpetrator: Macedonia
Children: 1
Perpetrator: her life partner Zeynel W. (29 years)
France and Zeynel live together in Detmold. She has a child, it is unclear whether it is his. Zeynel has several children with several women. It can be assumed that he still owes alimony.
On July 31, 2016, Franziska comes home from a discotheque early in the morning. Zeynel pulls her from the street into the bedroom by her hair. He hits her with a triple plug and suffocates her until she is unconscious. He keeps beating and kicking her, she regains consciousness, he suffocates her again and again unconsciously. In between he threatens to kill her.
Franziska survives and reports it, Zeynel goes into hiding. It is unclear where he is, but perhaps in his native Macedonia. This also means that Franziska lives in constant fear. In August 2018 he is caught, in January 2019 the trial starts in the court of Detmold. The case is not tried as an attempt at murder, but as the infliction of dangerous bodily harm.
A detail: Franziska is supposed to be the niece of Zeynel's ex-wife.
