Location: Rüsselsheim
Origin: Victim: Morocco; perpetrator: Turkey
Children: 4
Perpetrator: her husband Haci Ahmet Ü. (40 years)
Haci Ahmet has been imprisoned for several years and will be released in September 2016. Apparently he is moving back to his wife and children.
A week later he attacks his wife in the bedroom with a machete and suffocates her. Then he pours petrol over her and lights her up. He closes the bedroom door from the outside. Nabila survives badly injured. She has been in a coma for 2 months.
At the end of May 2017, the trial for attempted murder and serious arson began at the regional court in Darmstadt.
Nabila appears completely veiled in court, whether it is because of religious belief or because of burnt skin, is unclear.
In June 2017, the perpetrator is sentenced to 14 years and 6 months imprisonment for particularly serious arson and ill-treatment. The perpetrator appeals, which is rejected by the Federal Supreme Court in March 2018.
