Perpetrator: her ex-boyfriend Taner Ü. (34 years)
This assassination attempt resembles a crime from the criminal world. But beneath it lies the structure of an honour killing: the male perpetrator sees himself as the ruler of women's sexuality. He must assert this claim to power by force.

Name and nationality of the victim are not known. Here she would be called Aysa. Aysa is 38 years old and works as a prostitute. Her ex-boyfriend Taner doesn't want this and stalks her for months. Once he has strangled her, she is banned from approaching him. Taner searches for his ex-girlfriend through her mobile phone, breaks into her apartment with an axe and a knife, and stabs her in the vagina with a knife. Only when she presents herself dead does the perpetrator abandon her. An emergency operation saves her life.

In September 2017, the trial before the Cologne District Court will begin. The prosecutor states that the perpetrator regarded the woman as his property and demonstrated his claim to power with sentences such as "I am your God" and "This is mine" (referred to on the victim's vagina).

The perpetrator needs an interpreter in court. It is said that he is a father of two families and a heating installer. In December, he was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison for inflicting serious bodily harm.
